This is a virtual program open to anyone who is interested in issues raised by the dysfunction and oppression arising from the Westphalian state system that was imposed on African nations without their consent. Everything is self paced and conducted on line. Installments are added to the program as the story of the two shattered Sudans continues to unfold in real time. When possible, virtual Question and Answer (Q & A) sessions are recorded with presenters and appended to installments.
We begin the program with a short video on "A UNION STATE FOR SOUTH SUDAN" followed by an abridged history of the two shattered Sudans which begins in Egypt, a country that played a significant role in the formation of the two shattered Sudans. The abridged history provides context for what is to come.
If you have not done so yet, we recommend reading EMANCIPATING AFRICA THROUGH THE TWO SHATTERED SUDANS AND EQUATORIA BY MARGARET AKULIA, an article by the same name posted on the home page. It is the basis for this innovative proposition.
